Roadrunners are birds that can fly and run fast. The roadrunner live in desserts in Mexico and around the southern parts of the United States. The Roadrunner is the state bird of Mexico. It has features like long strong legs,their footprint is in the shape of an x. It has two toes facing forward and two toes facing backward so you can never tell which direction it was walking in.
The roadrunners beak is small and thin,the length of the Roadrunner is 2 feet from its beak to its tail. The body of a roadrunner can vary from its being brown with white spots,white belly or black streaks. Their eye colours are orange and have blue skin behind each eye. Roadrunners diet is mainly insects, roadrunners can also eat poisonous prey like scorpions and rattle snakes.
